What's New

MagiCapture AI - Intelligent GL Code Suggestions

  • AI-Powered GL Coding: MagiCapture now includes an intelligent GL coding layer that analyzes your invoice line items and suggests the most appropriate GL codes automatically. The system learns from your vendor's coding history, your existing GL structure, and your account defaults to make smart, context-aware suggestions — reducing manual entry and coding errors.
  • GL Code Insights Panel: A new insights panel on the invoice detail screen surfaces Claude's GL coding recommendations alongside any warnings on individual line items, so your AP team can review and confirm suggestions at a glance.
  • Clearer GL Code Display: GL codes now display as "Code : Description" throughout the invoice detail view, making it easier to verify coding accuracy without having to look up code definitions separately.
  • Client-Controlled Feature Flag: Intelligent GL coding can be enabled or disabled per organization through your preferences settings.

Payment Processing

  • PNC Bank Control Total File Support: For organizations banking with PNC, Fidesic can now generate the required Control Total (.ct) file alongside your ACH payment file automatically. This satisfies PNC's dual-file submission requirement without any additional manual steps. The feature is configurable per bank account and includes fields for your ACIS Customer Number and Job Name.
  • Approval Deletion Status Fix: Fixed an issue where deleting an approver from a payment in certain workflow states would leave the payment status stale on screen. The payment status now refreshes correctly after an approval is removed.

Check Generation

  • PDF Processing Reliability Fix: Resolved an error that could occur during check generation following a recent PDF library upgrade. Check generation should now process consistently without buffer-related failures.

Bank Account Management

  • Bank routing lookup logic was refactored into a dedicated service layer for improved stability. When entering a routing number, we will now look up the bank name via an external provider as an additional validation on the routing number and display this bank name on the site.
