Release Notes 2/20/26

Changes made to Fidesic as of 2/20/26

  • What's New

    Approval Workflows

    • Role-Based Default Approver: You can now assign a specific role to your Default Approver directly from the Workflow settings page. A new "Manage Default Approver" button opens a selection interface where you can specify both the approver and their role, ensuring approval notification emails are routed to exactly the right person every time.

    GL Code Search

    • Faster GL Code Lookup: GL code search is significantly faster. We optimized the underlying queries to reduce processing overhead, so you'll notice snappier results when searching and filtering by GL code.

    Bug Fixes

    Payment Processing

    • Payment Spreadsheet Import: Fixed an error that occurred when importing payment spreadsheets containing special characters (such as an ampersand) in document numbers. The system now handles these characters correctly and the import will complete without issue.
    • GL Code Search Fix: Resolved an additional issue affecting GL code search results to ensure accuracy.

    MagiCapture

    • Workflow Assignment Fix: Fixed an issue where invoices uploaded through MagiCapture were not being correctly assigned in the approval workflow. Documents uploaded via MagiCapture will now route properly to the right approver.
    • Processing Reliability: Improved timeout handling for MagiCapture document processing to reduce the chance of stalled uploads.

    Behind the Scenes

    • Performance: Significantly optimized invoice list loading, particularly for customers with large invoice volumes. Database query efficiency has been improved to reduce load times across filtering, sorting, and pagination.
Infrastructure: Migrated SSL certificate renewal to a more reliable automated process and improved application gateway monitoring with alerts for latency and errors. These changes improve overall platform stability and uptime.
