      Dynamics GP installation error:

      Cause

      This is most likely caused by a corrupted DYNAMICS.SET file. 

      Resolution

      This file is located in the Dynamics GP installation directory. Sometimes, the extension will be hidden but you can see SET File under the Type column.

      This file is just a simple text file so open it with Notepad.

      Near the end of the file, you should see some lines like the following. 

      :C:Program Files (x86)/Microsoft Dynamics/GP 2018/FIDESIC.DIC
      :C:Program Files (x86)/Microsoft Dynamics/GP 2018/Data/FRMS2703.DIC
      :C:Program Files (x86)/Microsoft Dynamics/GP 2018/Data/RPTS2703.DIC

      Make sure the FRMS2703.DIC and RPTS2703.DIC paths match the Data folder of the GP installation directory. Sometimes a custom shared path may be set but the module still installs locally and needs to point here.
