How to Generate and Download a NACHA (ACH) (EFT) File from Fidesic to Upload to your Bank.

While we have the ability to deliver ACH/NACHA Files to your bank automatiaclly using SFTP, not all banks support this method of Delivery. This will show you how to manually generate, and download a NACHA file for Upload

Prerequisites

Bank Account Setup

Before you will be able to generate and download ACH/NACHA file from Fidesic, you will need to update your banking info page as follows. You will need all basic required banking info, as well as Immediate Origin Number and the Company ID. Assuming you already have ACH file processing available with your bank, they should be able to provide this info to you directly. 

To add this, navigate to your Banking page. 

From this page, you will be able to hit the Edit Pen Icon on your account and add the Immediate Origin and Company ID. The Following Screen shot has this info added. 

Vendor ACH Info has been added to Fidesic for you Vendors. 

Fidesic will automatically flip vendor payments to ACH/EFT whenever a valid bank account has been added to the Vendor Card in Fidesic. There are two options to collect this data. For more info on each method, head to the knowledge linked below. 

  1. Add Vendor Banking info you have manually
  2. Have Vendors Add ACH info Directly using our Vendor Portal. 

Uploading Payments from your ERP to Fidesic to initate payments

 

Exporting NACHA Files from Fidesic

Once the prerequisites have been completed, and a payment has been uploaded and fully approved, you will be able to generate a NACHA file for download. 

Navigate to your Export Files page. 

Under ACH Files click on Generate File Now. 

This file will then be generated and available for download onto your local device. Once downloaded, the Viewed column will contain a check mark. 

Upload this file to your banking portal for processing.
