- -41 Trying to activate a new version of the PDF Converter with an activation key of the previous version.
- Is this your first attempt? If so, please run GP as an administrator, and log in as SA to do the first PDF creation. If you succeed with the SA Login as Admin, attempt it again with a regular user. Sometimes the license needs to be created by an admin on the first attempt.
- We need to make sure the users have access to this folder: dynamics GP install folder/Fid_PDF

- For CITRIX ONLY, need to install the printer locally. More likely, might need to RDP to the server directly for the first print to properly activate the printer.
- CHANGE PORT TO “NUL”
- -20 Name of licensee could not be read (License registry entry not found)
- It’s attempting to print to a locked NUL port (which has been captured by one-note most likely)
- Open Microsoft one note
- De-select Nul port as default
- Open Enliven Printer
- Select Nul port
- Check permissions on the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Dynamics\GPVERSION\Fid_PDF (entire GP folder to be safe)
- Make sure there is available disk space on the machine
- Check printer permissions
- This may occur if printer is manually installed

- May try to print to LPT (laser printer port), not a NUL or NULL port. Changing to null port should resolve the issue
- From the Windows Search menu, search for printers and select "Devices and Printers"
- Right click on "Enliven Internal PDF Converter" and select "Printer Properties"
- Select the Advanced tab
- Click the option to Print directly to the printer
- Click OK to finish.
