This article is used as a refernce for how to handle credit memos within fidesic including how to apply
Credit General Info
Fidesic is able to handle credit memos as a document type. Our MagiCapture system will automatically identify credits, and capture them as such. If you want to create a credit memo, you can do so using the Enter Invoice function within Fidesic, and select Credit Memo as the document Type on the entry screen.
Note: Credit total amount will be a Positive number, this will be reflected as a credit once imported into GP.
Applying Credits to Invoices
If you are using Fidesic for payments as well in dynamics GP, there is no need to apply credits to invoices within Fidesic. You can simply apply credits using the standard method in GP, and those applications will be uploaded with your payment batches:

If you do not use Fidesic for payments you can also manually apply credits against invoices using the apply credits function on the vendor card within Fidesic. This is not necessary if using Fidesic for payments, it's best to let GP handle the application.
Invoices with Line Item Credits
You have the ability to enter an invoice in Fidesic, and have one or multiple individual lines on that invoice as a credit. To capture credit lines, you will enter the line as a negative value on the individual line item.
If the total sum of credits on lines on an invoice is negative, we will automatically flip that document to a credit memo document type.
